Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

The controller is GLOBALCELL MOBILE LTD (trading as GLOBALCELL Mobile), company number 16663482, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom. Privacy contact: support@globalcell.world (subject "Privacy request"). EU representative under Art. 27 GDPR: [TBC]. Our supervisory authority is the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

2. Our approach

We collect as little personal data as the law allows. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth or ID document.

3. What we process, why, and for how long

  • Country of residence you declare at checkout. Purpose: determining tax. Legal basis: legal obligation. Kept: as long as tax law requires [TBC].
  • IP address used at checkout and the country derived from it. Purpose: tax evidence and fraud prevention. Legal basis: legal obligation; legitimate interests. Kept: only as long as tax law requires [TBC: period to be confirmed by our tax adviser], then deleted. We do not use it for anything else.
  • Order data: order ID, plan, price, eSIM identifier (ICCID), activation status, credit balance. Purpose: providing the service and support. Legal basis: contract. Kept: while your eSIM or credit is active, then as long as accounting law requires [TBC].
  • Payment data: blockchain transaction ID, paying address, amount, network. Purpose: matching payments, refunds, accounting, sanctions and anti-money-laundering screening. Legal basis: contract; legal obligation. Kept: as long as accounting and anti-money-laundering law require [TBC].
  • Network data that telecom law requires an operator to keep (for example, eSIM identifiers, IP assignment, time and network of connection). Purpose: legal retention duties. Legal basis: legal obligation. Kept: for the period the law sets [TBC].
  • Email address (optional). Purpose: only for order help (receipt, plan alerts, recovering your order link, replying to you). We never use it for marketing unless you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Legal basis: contract; consent for news. Kept: while your eSIM or credit is active and up to [TBC: 12] months after, or deleted sooner on request.
  • Waitlist email (optional). Purpose: one message when checkout opens, plus news only if you ticked the box. Legal basis: consent. Kept: deleted within 90 days after launch, or sooner on request.
  • Support messages (email or Telegram). Purpose: answering you. Legal basis: legitimate interests; contract. Kept: [TBC: 12] months after the conversation ends. Telegram is run by a third party under its own privacy policy; we see only what you send us and your Telegram display name.

4. Purpose limitation

We use each piece of data only for the purpose listed above. We do not sell, rent or share data for advertising, and we do not build profiles.

5. Who we share data with

  • Our group companies and technical providers that help run the network and the service, under contracts that bind them to our instructions [TBC: list].
  • Partner networks abroad, which see the network data needed to connect you.
  • Authorities, only where the law requires it (see our Terms, clause 10).
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, auditors, accountants) under duties of confidentiality.

6. International transfers

Data may be processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area [TBC]. Transfers from the EEA to the UK rely on the EU adequacy decision for the UK. Other transfers use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not hold your name, we may ask you to prove the order is yours, for example with your order ID and a payment detail. Email deletion requests are handled within 30 days. You can complain to the ICO or to the data protection authority where you live.

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. See the Cookie notice.

9. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and minimisation. Your private order link is a secret: keep it safe.

10. Changes

We will publish any changes here and, for material changes, tell customers who gave an email.
